A. SSC CGL (Combined Graduate Level)
- Posts: Assistant Section Officer, Inspector, Accountant, etc.
- Eligibility: Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
- Exam Pattern:
- Tier 1: General Awareness, English, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude (Objective).
- Tier 2: Papers on Quantitative Aptitude, English, and General Studies (depending on the post).
- Tier 3: Descriptive Test (Essay/Letter Writing).
- Tier 4: Skill Test/Document Verification.
- B. SSC CHSL (Combined Higher Secondary Level)
- Posts: LDC (Lower Division Clerk), DEO (Data Entry Operator), Postal Assistant.
- Eligibility: 10+2 pass.
- Exam Pattern:
- Tier 1: Objective questions on General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, English, and Reasoning.
- Tier 2: Descriptive Test (Essay/Letter Writing).
- Tier 3: Skill/Typing Test.
C. SSC MTS (Multi-Tasking Staff)
- Posts: Group D posts such as Peon, Watchman, Gardener, etc.
- Eligibility: 10th pass.
- Exam Pattern:
- Paper 1: Objective questions on General Intelligence, Numerical Aptitude, English, and General Awareness.
- Paper 2: Descriptive Test (Short Essay/Letter Writing).
D. SSC GD (General Duty Constable)
- Posts: Constable in CAPFs, BSF, CRPF, etc.
- Eligibility: 10th pass.
- Exam Pattern:
- Stage 1: CBT on General Intelligence, Numerical Aptitude, English/Hindi, and General Awareness.
- Stage 2: Physical Efficiency Test (PET).
- Stage 3: Medical Examination.
