IMU CET
The IMU CET (Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test) is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the Indian Maritime University (IMU). It is the gateway for admission to various undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) programs related to maritime studies.

Eligibility Criteria
Undergraduate Courses
Common Eligibility:
- Age Limit:
- Minimum: 17 years
- Maximum: 25 years (5-year relaxation for SC/ST candidates)
- Educational Qualification:
- Passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) with at least 60% aggregate (50% for SC/ST).
- At least 50% marks in English in 10th/12th standard.
- Medical Fitness: Must meet the physical fitness and vision standards as per DG Shipping guidelines for seafaring professions.
Postgraduate Courses
Common Eligibility:
- Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
- At least 50% marks in English in 10th/12th/Degree level.
Course-Specific Eligibility:
- M.Tech (Marine Engineering & Management):
- B.E./B.Tech in Marine Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/Naval Architecture with at least 60% aggregate.
- MBA (Port and Shipping Management):
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks.
