RRB CLERK
The RRB Clerk Exam, also known as the IBPS RRB Office Assistant Exam, is conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) for recruiting clerks or office assistants in Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) across India.

The RRB Clerk Exam, conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS), recruits candidates for the Office Assistant (Clerk) position in Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) across India. It includes Preliminary and Main exams that test reasoning, numerical ability, general awareness, and language skills.
Eligibility Criteria
• Nationality: The candidate must be an Indian citizen, a citizen of Nepal or Bhutan, or a Tibetan refugee who came to India before January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanent settlement.
• Age Limit: Generally, 18–28 years (age relaxation for reserved categories as per government rules).
• Educational Qualification: A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university is mandatory. Proficiency in the local language of the respective RRB is required.
Selection Process
The RRB Clerk Exam follows a two-stage selection process:
• Preliminary Examination (Prelims)
• Main Examination (Mains)

• Negative Marking: 0.25 marks are deducted for each wrong answer.

4. Syllabus Overview
Here’s an outline of the subjects included:
• Reasoning Ability: Puzzles, seating arrangements, blood relations, coding-decoding, syllogisms, inequalities, alphanumeric series, data sufficiency, etc.
• Numerical Ability: Data interpretation, simplification/approximation, number series, arithmetic topics (profit and loss, time and work, percentage, etc.), quadratic equations.
• General Awareness: Banking awareness, current events, economic and financial news, static general knowledge.
• English Language: Reading comprehension, cloze test, error spotting, sentence rearrangement, fillers, and vocabulary.
• Computer Knowledge: Basics of computers, MS Office, Internet, shortcuts, and computer fundamentals.
